Transforming neglected land into a fertile and productive food-source in nature's image
Our Three Guiding Principles

Permaculture Practices
Permaculture is an approach to managing land, soil, flora, and fauna in a way that is inspired by and modeled after natural flourishing ecosystems. The entire philosophy of permaculture is based upon developing permanent, sustainable, biodeverse, and resilient agriculture that provides the materials necessary for life while working with and emulating natural processes. It's impossible to sum up permaculture in a few sentences so we encourage you to explore the massive amount of information on this topic available online.
Regenerative Agriculture
Regenerative agriculture is a wholistic farming method focused on restoring and rebuilding soil health and ecosystem function. It's core principles help transition simple dirt into a living soil organism (packed with microbes and fungi) that work with plants to exchange minerals. There are numerous practices in regenerative agriculture that can help a dry dusty field filled with a single crop become something far better for people and the environment. We are excited to implement them!
Pollinator Conservation
We love pollinators and all the amazing things they do on the farm. Despite the fact that we owe all of our fruit and vegetable production to the pollinators, they are often on the losing side when large scale pesticides and herbicides are applied to farm fields. We want to ensure they have the necessary areas to thrive. Our farm supports this effort with a dedicated wildflower pollinator habitat, milkweed meadow, and woodland area that are all free of chemicals. The buzzing bees, fluttering monarchs, and thousands of fireflies tell us it's working.
